A-Puzzle-A-Day is a daily logic and spatial puzzle in which players arrange a set of uniquely shaped pieces to leave visible only the current month and day on the puzzle board. Because there is a valid solution for every date of the year, the puzzle offers a fresh challenge each day.

A-Puzzle-A-Day provides an engaging context for exploring geometry, transformations, tessellations, spatial reasoning and problem solving strategies.

Students can play a digital version of the puzzle for free using Polypad - The Mathematical Playground (and similar online versions or apps are also available).
