The MAA’s AMC for All committee is creating access to equitable mathematics enrichment and problem-solving resources for teachers and students in under-resourced schools and under-represented communities. The committee aims to build belonging, confidence, and interest in math through a robust suite of resources. We are still looking for more committee members to design these resources to distribute to K-12 communities. The following position is open:
Committee Member (1-year term): Committee members are educators, researchers, community leaders, and industry professionals who collaboratively design deliverables to include DEI teacher training support, student learning strategies, math application, awards and recognition, engagement opportunities, and career connections. Honorariums start at $3,000 with a term length of one year. Those interested in the position should contact amchq@maa.org.
