Bio

I am Graduated in Mathematics from Brigham Young University (BYU), specialized in Partial Differential Equations. In parallel with my research, I am deeply committed to public education systems, particularly in the areas of evidence-based teaching , inclusive pedagogy , and active learning. Math and Statistics Instructor at Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) with ACUE ETP in progress, Active member of the Comparative and International Education Society (CIES) and Mathematical Association of America (MAA).
Prior to my current position , I was selected to participate in the prestigious program of the U.S. Department of State’s called  “International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP)”, with a thematic emphasis on STEM Education. This opportunity not only broadened my understanding of global education systems but also reinforced my commitment to collaborative leadership and culturally responsive practices. Since then, I have served in multiple instructional and academic leadership roles, mentoring students and early-career educators, while also contributing to research dissemination through peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations at both national and international levels.
My current areas of professional interest include:
Enhancing educational quality in emergency and high-need contexts,
Utilizing disaggregated data to close opportunity gaps, and
Aligning local policy frameworks with evidence-based practices to improve student outcomes across diverse populations.
I am particularly drawn to systems-level roles where I can support strategic planning, lead cross-sector collaboration, and conduct policy analysis grounded in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. My goal is to work alongside educational leaders   to support a coherent vision for public education—one that is rigorous, inclusive, and driven by data-informed continuous improvement.
